What is “PAC”?: PAC stands for Political Action Committee
Purpose: An organization that pools campaign contributions from members and donates those funds to campaigns either for or against candidates, ballot initiatives, or legislation.
Mission: To network and educate legislative members on the importance of dental hygiene.
Goals: The goals of the OK PAC, are through educating dental hygiene students and practicing professionals on the importance of political activism, promoting dental hygiene professionals, and advocating for general public dental health.
Vision Statement: To guide legislators on advancing the dental hygiene scope of practice and recruiting members to volunteer for candidates.
