What It Takes To Be A Laser Hygienist – Can You See the Light?

Join OKDHA’s Tulsa County Component on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM to hear more about lasers in dental hygiene, and how RDHs can use them in Oklahoma! Presented by the fabulous Angie Wallace, RDH. Dinner provided. Free CE for ADHA members! Cost is $20 for non-members. SEATING IS LIMITED.

What It Takes To Be A Laser Hygienist – Can You See the Light?

SPEAKER BIO:

Angie Wallace, RDH has been a clinical hygienist for over 35 years. She is an active member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), where she obtained her Advanced level proficiency. Angie is the only Dental Hygienist with ALD to have her Educator Status and received her ALD Recognized Course Provider 2007 and her Mastership with ALD in 2008.

Angie currently serves as Chair for Education Committee with the Academy of Laser Dentistry and serves on the Regulatory Affairs (Working with States on Dental Hygiene Laser use) as well as on the Auxiliary committee for the ALD Board of Directors.

In 2023 Angie has been awarded the ALD Educator of the Year Award as well as the ADHA Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She was the recipient of the 2014 Distinguished Service Award from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and has been recognized as a Worldwide Speaker. She has a published book about Dental Hygiene and lasers. Angie currently writes articles for RDH Through the Loupes

Angie is an In-Office Laser Consultant with her own Laser Education company Laser Hygiene, LLC. She has presented for the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and Several Laser companies, as well as ADHA and RDHUOR meetings, several State meetings and for private offices.
